Gameweek 13 is almost here, the deadline is coming up fast, and there are still 25 weeks left to climb the ranks.
I’ve spent some time looking closely at my squad to see what needs changing and which players I’m happy to keep.
With fixtures shifting and form starting to settle, I want to make sure my team is ready for the weeks ahead.
I also have one free transfer, and I plan to use it to bring in a player I know can give me more points in Gameweek 13. In this article, I’ll show how my team is shaping up and the moves I’m planning.
Goalkeeper
For my goalkeeper, I’ll still be holding onto Newcastle’s main man at the back, Nick Pope. He has been with me for a while now and has added some valuable points along the way.
Heading into Gameweek 13, he will be facing Everton, who have been in good form so far this season.
Looking ahead, Pope will be playing against Spurs, Burnley, and Sunderland in his next three matches, which makes him a reliable option for the weeks to come.
I’m confident that he can deliver a solid performance and help secure a clean sheet.
Defenders
For Gameweek 13, I’ll be using three defenders. I’m still holding onto Senesi, who will be playing against Sunderland.
Sunderland currently sits in 6th place above Bournemouth in the Premier League table, with five wins, four draws, and three losses so far this season.
I’ve decided to give Senesi the vice-captain armband for this week, as he has been reliable and could bring in some valuable points.
Alongside him, I have Crystal Palace defender Lacroix, who surprised many managers who owned him in Gameweek 12.
He earned me 11 points last week, and heading into Gameweek 13, he will be facing Manchester United. They sit 10th on the table but have been in good form this season, making Lacroix a solid pick.
Completing my defence is Aston Villa’s Lucas Digne. He has been performing well, collecting 11 points from Gameweeks 10 to 12.
In Gameweek 13, he will play against Wolves, who are at the bottom of the table with 10 losses so far this season. This gives Digne a good chance to contribute points and strengthen my defence.
Midfielders
With my one free transfer, I brought in Manchester City’s Rayan Cherki, who has been giving managers some great returns recently.
He looks ready to make an impact in Gameweek 13, and I’m confident he can add valuable points to my midfield. Cherki will be playing against Leeds, although it is not certain if Pep Guardiola will start him in the match.
I also have Mbeumo, who remains the most transferred-in player. He will be facing Crystal Palace, while Sarr will play against Manchester United.
Both have been reliable options, and I’m trusting them to add valuable points to my FPL tally this week.
I’m also keeping Reijnders, who has been in my team for a long time. Even though he hasn’t been very consistent with goals or assists, I’m hoping that my patience with him will pay off in a big way.
Completing my midfield is Ndaiye, Everton’s main man, who continues to be an important player for his team. I’m counting on him to contribute points and help strengthen my midfield as we head into Gameweek 13.
Forwards
In my forward line, I have Mateta and Haaland. Both have been performing really well this season. Haaland remains my captain every gameweek and continues to be the most captained player in FPL.
He will be playing against Leeds in Gameweek 13, and I’m confident he can deliver another big performance for my team.
Mateta has also been a strong option. He brings consistency and attacking threat, and I’m trusting him to contribute points alongside Haaland as we head into this gameweek.
That’s how my team looks for Gameweek 13. I’ve tried to balance form and fixtures, and I’m hoping my choices pay off with good points this week.
