The Wisconsin men’s basketball team heads back out West this week to compete in the four-team Rady Children’s Invitational in California.
The Badgers are coming off their first loss of the season, a 98-70 defeat against BYU (ranked No. 9 in the AP poll, No. 11 in the USA Today coaches poll) in Salt Lake City on Nov. 21. Next up is Providence at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Jenny Craig Pavilion in San Diego. Providence, of the Big East Conference, is 4-2 this season with victories over Holy Cross, Penn, New Hampshire and Penn State. The Friars’ losses are to Virginia Tech and Colorado.

TCU is 3-2 after playing only one high-major program, a 67-63 loss to Michigan. Florida is 4-1, winning four straight after a season-opening loss to No. 2/3 Arizona.
Both games will be televised on FS1.
The losers of the Nov. 27 games will play in the consolation game at 2 p.m. Nov. 28, while the winners will play for the championship later that day at 4:30 p.m. Both games will be televised on Fox.
