Louisville (Ky.) St. Xavier four-star linebacker Karsten Busch has decommitted from Louisville, he announced on Monday.
Busch had been committed to the Cardinals since March, when he chose them over Kentucky, Cincinnati, Michigan State, Minnesota and others. But with just over a week until National Signing Day, he is reopening his recruitment.
“I’m extremely proud to be born and raised from Louisville, Kentucky,” he wrote on Twitter. “I want to thank the University of Louisville for recruiting me especially Coach Brohm, Coach Ivey and Coach Marrow. After further conversation with my family I am decommiting from the University of Louisville.”
