Real Madrid have published their squad list for Sunday’s match against Elche, the first game after the FIFA break.

Defenders: Trent, Asencio, Á. Carreras, Fran García, F. Mendy, Huijsen.
Midfielders: Bellingham, Camavinga, Valverde, Arda Güler, D. Ceballos.
Forwards: Vini Jr., Endrick, Mbappé, Rodrygo, Gonzalo, Brahim.

Coach Xabi Alonso has decided to keep Aurelien Tchouameni out of this list even though the French midfielder had rejoined the squad in training on Thursday. Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba are also still out.

Needless to say, Real Madrid should have what it takes to beat Elche in somewhat comfortable fashion, although most away games after International breaks are always tricky. That’s why Los Blancos will need to play with intensity and take the game very seriously if they want to earn the three points.
