Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young returned to Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons after suffering an ankle injury in the first quarter.
The precise nature of his injury wasn't immediately clear. Young was in pain on the field after a sack by Billy Bowman Jr. in the first quarter. He remained down on the field for several moments as trainers tended to him.

The Panthers punted on the next play, and Young eventually walked to the locker room without assistance.
The Panthers listed Young as questionable to return, but Young re-entered the game on the next Panthers possession.
