Lamar Jackson returns to Ravens practice ahead of the Week 11 matchup vs. the Browns

Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson was battered in the win over Minnesota on Sunday, and the MVP candidate sat out the Ravens‘ Wednesday practice ahead of the critical Week 11 matchup vs. the Cleveland Browns at Huntingdon Bank Stadium on Sunday.

Jackson’s absence was short-lived, as the quarterback returned to practice on Thursday.

While Jackson was back, wide receiver Rashod Bateman, running back Justice Hill, cornerback Marlon Humphrey (finger), and linebacker Jay Higgins (knee) all sat out. Bateman is not expected to play against Cleveland, while Humphrey could miss time as well.

Baltimore made all the necessary plays in a 27-19 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10. The Ravens defense sacked J.J. McCarthy one time, but held Minnesota’s All-Pro wide receiver to 37 yards on the afternoon.

The Ravens‘ star quarterback played his second game since returning from injury and was solid in responding to blitz packages from Vikings DC Brian Flores. Jackson was 17-29 for 176 yards, one touchdown, zero interceptions, and an 87.7 QB rating.
