Steelers breakout TE dealing with surprise injury ahead of Week 10 vs. Chargers

One of the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ top offensive weapons in the midst of a Year 4 breakout is battling an injury ahead of Week 10 vs. the Los Angeles Chargers — the massive TE Darnell Washington.

On Wednesday’s injury report, Washington didn’t practice due to a foot injury — leaving some fans to speculate on his health ahead of Sunday Night Football this week.

Washington wasn’t the only Steeler to miss practice with an injury, as six other players did as well — WR Scotty Miller (finger), LB Cole Holcomb (illness), OLB Alex Highsmith (ankle), S Jabrill Peppers (quadricep), G Isaac Seumalo (pectoral), and CB Cory Trice (hamstring/knee).

We at Steelers Wire will keep a close eye on Washington’s condition ahead of the Week 10 game vs. the Chargers, providing you with updates as more information becomes available throughout the week.
