Michigan State fans will have to wait until later in the week to find out when their annual rivalry game against Michigan will kickoff this year.
The Big Ten announced game times and TV selections for Week 9 action, and there were a lot of to be determined in the announcement. That included the Spartans–Wolverines rivalry game that is set to be played on October 25.
Per a social media post form the league, the Big Ten will announce the start time and TV selection for the Michigan-Michigan State game on Sunday.
Michigan State is 3-3 overall and 0-3 in Big Ten play with a tough road game at Indiana looming this upcoming Saturday. Michigan is slightly better than the Spartans with a 4-2 overall record but notably better 2-1 record in conference play.
Michigan has won the last three meetings between these two rivals, with the Spartans last win over the Wolverines coming in 2021. Like that game, this year's rivalry game will be played at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Mich.
