Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson is going on injured reserve due to a groin injury, which will sideline the six-year veteran for at least four weeks. However, he is expected to be out “indefinitely,” reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Johnson, 26, missed all of training camp and preseason with his groin issue. He missed the Bears' Week 1 opener versus the Minnesota Vikings, but returned to play Week 2 versus the Detroit Lions. Johnson left that game in the second quarter after making two tackles, reaggravating his injury while diving to break up a pass.
