Sean McVay shares status updates on Steve Avila and Braden Fiske for Sunday vs. Eagles

The Los Angeles Rams are in danger of being without two key starters in the trenches on Sunday when they visit the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sean McVay said on Friday that Steve Avila will be doubtful to play this weekend, while Braden Fiske will be listed as questionable. Avila is still recovering from an ankle injury suffered in Week 1, which caused him to miss last week’s game in Tennessee.

Fiske tweaked his oblique in warmups last week and is uncertain to play on Sunday in Philly. He played just three snaps in the playoff game against the Eagles in January, which certainly had a negative impact on the Rams in their loss.

Additionally, Colby Parkinson will be questionable to play, as well. He’s dealing with a shoulder injury that stems from Week 1.
