The teams shook hands after Norway gave up a steal of two in the eighth.
The Canadians, who improved to 6-1, will play Czech Republic’s Lukas Klima in the evening draw.
Round-robin play will continue through Friday night.
The top six teams in the 13-team field will qualify for the weekend playoffs.
