Steelers vs Ravens injury updates: QB Lamar Jackson misses Thursday practice

On Thursday, ESPN reporter Adam Schefter reported that Baltimore Ravens starting quarterback Lamar Jackson missed practice with an ankle injury. Jackson was limited on Wednesday but was unable to go at all on Thursday. If Jackson cannot go on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tyler Huntley would get the start.

The Steelers need all the help they can get this week. They are currently sitting at 6-6 and tied with the Ravens on top in the AFC North. Any advantage a struggling Pittsburgh defense can get is a good thing. But regardless of who is playing quarterback, the top priority for that defense will be trying to figure out how to slow down Ravens running back Derrick Henry who has been on a tear lately.

Jackson has already missed three starts this season due to injury but the Ravens have rebounded after a slow start. Jackson was limited last week as well but played in the Ravens 32-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving.
