The Oklahoma Sooners are riding the momentum of their 10-2 season right into the early signing period, which starts on Wednesday and runs through Friday. On Monday night, they added another commitment to their surging 2026 recruiting class in linebacker Kristian Moore.

Moore is a three-star linebacker out of Selma, Ala., and had been committed to North Alabama. Moore attended Brent Venables' football camp back in the Summer and took an unofficial visit to Norman for the Sooners' win over Michigan. However, he only received his offer on Nov. 27 when he took his second trip to Norman for an official visit to watch Oklahoma beat the LSU Tigers. And two days later, Moore pledged to the Oklahoma Sooners.

Moore might be one of the more underrated prospects in the 2026 recruiting class. He's a punishing player from the middle linebacker position. He attacks the ball carrier with ferocity. Moore displays good vision and reaction times. Once he diagnoses what a team is doing, he gets downhill in an instant. At 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, Moore has great size and will be a force in the middle of Brent Venables' defense and as a special teams player early in his career.

According to 247Sports, Moore was credited with 91 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, five pass breakups, and a fumble recovery.

He's the 24th prospect committed to the Oklahoma Sooners ahead of the early signing period, and now the Sooners rank No. 14 in the 247Sports team rankings.
