The Chicago Bears defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, 24-15, to improve to 9-3 one the season. It marked their fift6h straight win and ninth in the last 10 games.
A lot of folks, fans and media alike, were disrespectful to the Bears and the path to their winning record. Well, nobody can argue with a win over the Eagles as a good one. No matter how you spin it, the Bears beat the defending Super Bowl champions with the Super Bowl MVP in the lineup and fully healthy.
Are the Eagles, who are now 8-4, the same team as they were last year? It doesn't appear that way anymore. But they still have the pedigree of a champion, a ton of talent playing at a high level, and lead an NFL division in Week 13.
To beat a team like this, the Bears had to dig deep and play some of their best football. Great plays needed to be made consistently, and they were. These five stick out:
1. D'Andre Swift opens the scoring against his former team

The Bears took an early 7-0 lead in the game, and they never relinquished it. Running back D'Andre Swift got the scoring going with a 3-yard rushing touchdown against his former team. This set the tone for Chicago to shut the door on the Eagles for the rest of the game.
2. Kevin Byard records NFL-best sixth interception of season

Safety Kevin Byard has been one of the most influential players on the Bears in 2025. They are one of the best turnover defenses in the NFL, and he is a big reason for that. His dominance continued against the Eagles, as he had another interception on a drive that could have tied the game for the Eagles if it had gone well for them. Byard has a league-best six interceptions.
3. Nahshon Wright forces and recovers fumble on Tush Push

It seems like Kevin Byard or Nahshon Wright create a turnover in every single game. This week, they both did. On this play, Wright forced a fumble and recovered it. This came at a critical time in the game, as the Eagles were threatening after Caleb Williams' costly interception. Philadelphia has been near perfect with the Tush Push, and Wright came away with a huge takeaway to give the momentum back to the Bears.
4. Kyle Monangai finds the end zone for the fourth straight game

Kyle Monangai closed out the next drive with a touchdown, which is his fourth straight game with a rushing score. Monangai finished with 130 yards on 22 carries, averaging 5.9 yards per carry, and this touchdown. It was part of a massive day for this Bears rushing attack, which totaled 281 yards on the ground.
5. Caleb Williams hits Cole Kmet for a touchdown

Instead of allowing the Eagles to have the ball in a one-possession game late, the Bears extended their lead with this touchdown pass from quarterback Caleb Williams to tight end Cole Kmet. The Bears were able to breathe a little bit once Kmet made this catch.
