Aston Villa's season has come alive in the last two months and one of their strikers has played a huge role in it – just not the one we usually associate with Unai Emery's side.Â
While Ollie Watkins has been the main man for several years at Villa Park, he has struggled for form this season with Donyell Malen instead stepping up with a stunning run of form.Â
His brace tonight against Young Boys – one with the head, and one with a brilliant right-footed finish – made it six goals for Villa since the start of October while if you include his record with the Netherlands, it's now eight in eight weeks.Â
Not bad for a forward who failed to score in either August or September.Â

Malen was hit by an object thrown from the away end after his first goal as the Swiss fans continue to cause trouble but he likely will not care with his focus now on a potential first hat-trick for the Villains.Â
