What we learned from the Buffalo Bills’ 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11

The Buffalo Bills taught us some things this past week.

The Bills (7-3) won a 44-32 final against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-4) in Week 11. As the score indicates, it was a wild ride for both teams… and the offenses delivered more much more than defenses.

Here are Bills Wire’s three things we learned from the Bills’ win over the Bucs:

Josh Allen is still top tier

The Bills let Josh Allen unleash everything on the Buccaneers defense. The quarterback had a ridiculous six total touchdowns in the win, three passing and three rushing. Allen had 317 passing yards as well.

No one will question whether or not there is an elite quarterback in Buffalo the rest of this season.

Keon is on a short leash

We eventually found out wide receiver Keon Coleman was benched by the Bills against the Buccaneers. He was inactive on Sunday because he was late to a team meeting on Friday.

Because of that alone, Coleman is clearly on a short leash.

Combine that with the Bills giving Gabe Davis and Mecole Hardman some run in the offense without Coleman?

Coleman’s position could be up for grabs.

Ground problems

The Bills have to focus on fixing their approach toward rushing attacks all over their roster… both sides of the ball.

The Bucs’ Sean Tucker surpassed the 100-yard mark on the ground (106). Buffalo’s defense has struggled against opposing running back all year as the team has allowed 153.0 yards per game on the ground in 2025, the second-worst in the NFL.

On offense, the concerns are nowhere close to that. However, Bills running back James Cook has not come close to hitting 100 yards in back-to-back outings. He only had 48 against Tampa, averaging just 3.0 yards per carry.

It’s something to keep an eye on.
