EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Jordan Love avoided the attempted sack on the play. But as he scrambled 4 yards toward the right sideline with 3:20 to play in the first, New York Giants linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles hit the Green Bay Packers quarterback’s left shoulder hard.
An official flagged Love for evaluation. Backup quarterback Malik Willis went into the game as Love began testing his shoulder on the sideline, a series of circles leading to a visit from the blue medical tent.
Before the quarter was over, Love was jogging around the perimeter of the field toward the locker room for further evaluation.
He was ruled questionable to return with a left shoulder injury.
