The Kansas City Chiefs may be without veteran offensive tackle Jaylon Moore during their Week 11 matchup against the Denver Broncos this afternoon.
Moore, who has been Kansas City's starting left tackle in recent weeks, saw his status downgraded to questionable ahead of the rivalry tilt due to an illness.
The Chiefs signed Moore as a free agent in the offseason, and initially had the former Western Michigan Bronco on the bench before rookie lineman Josh Simmons — who began the season as Kansas City's blindside protector — took an extended leave of absence to deal with a personal matter.
An official update on Moore's status was shared by the Chiefs' official Twitter account before kickoff on Sunday:

If Moore is unable to play against the Broncos this afternoon, fans should expect Simmons to resume his role as Kansas City's starting left tackle as the Chiefs look to keep their record above .500 during their road trip to Denver.
