Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte pinpoints his strength on football field

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte had a tremendous day in Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, including making multiple contested catches.

That kind of aggressive style of play at receiver is something he clearly takes pride in being a major part of his game. All told, the former LSU star recorded five catches for 93 yards and two touchdowns in his return to Louisiana. One of those contested grabs was over Saints defensive back Kool-Aid McKinstry.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye put the ball in the perfect spot where only Boutte could get to it, and it aided the team in their 25-19 win over New Orleans.

“I think I'm good at contested catches honestly,” said Boutte, via Patriots Wire's Sophie Weller.

Boutte has quickly emerged as one of Maye's most reliable receiving targets on the field. He is already off to an impressive start in 2025 with 18 catches for 301 yards and three touchdowns.

What a journey it's been for Boutte, who went from a sixth-round draft pick to serving as the No. 2 option across from Stefon Diggs.
