The Ivorian striker joins the Istanbul club for a season with a purchase option.
David Datro Fofana / Fatih Karagümrük
David Datro Fofana has left Chelsea to join Fatih Karagümrük on loan. The Ivorian's move was made official this Saturday, September 13, 2025, by both clubs, with a purchase option included in the deal.
Datro Fofana joins the Fatih Karagümrük squad for a new adventure in Turkey. The 22-year-old striker, still under contract with Chelsea, has been made available to the Turkish side for yet another loan spell. The former Molde player returns to the Super Lig, a league he first discovered during the first half of the 2024-2025 season with Göztepe (2 goals in 9 appearances). His stint was cut short in February 2025 due to a knee injury that sidelined him for several months.
