San Diego (Calif.) Rancho Bernardo athlete Gaige Weddle will take in three college game days in the next two weeks.
Rivals No. 1 ranked 2028 athlete prospect will be at San Diego State on Thursday night to watch the Aztecs open the season against Stony Brook.
On Saturday, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Weddle will head over to UCLA to watch the Bruins host Utah.
The following Saturday Weddle will be in Norman to watch Oklahoma host Michigan in an exciting week two showdown.
In his season opener Weddle completed 14 of 20 passes for 155 yards and a touchdown. He rushed seven more times for 35 yards and registered six tackles, an interception he ran back 51 yards for a touchdown and added another pass defended in a 15-13 victory over La Serna.
Last fall, Weddle completed over 63 percent of his passes for 1,115 yards and 12 touchdowns to just two interceptions, with another 635 yards and nine more scores on the ground. He had 90 tackles, an interception and forced fumble from his post in the secondary. The film, the pedigree (father Eric Weddle is a Super Bowl Champ, a five-time NFL All-Pro and part of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team) and the potential led to Rivals ranking Weddle as the No. 1 athlete and No. 3 prospect overall in the intial 2028 Rivals Top 100.
