If you like the highly popular NFL Hard Knocks series, then Michigan State football has something even better for you.
It was announced on Wednesday that they'll be premiering a new Spartans football series that appears to provide an inside look at Michigan State football. The Spartans' official social media account released a trailer video for the upcoming series that is set to premiere next week on Wednesday — just two days before the Spartans open the 2025 season against Western Michigan.
The show will be called “This is State” with the trailer including what appears to be footage from practice, interviews with players and coaches, and other off the field events surrounding the program.

The culture. The family. The football.

At the time of this post, there doesn't appear to be too much details behind the series other than that it will be only available to watch on YouTube.
I'm personally fired up about this new series and excited to learn more about it in the coming days. This will certainly be a fun taste and teaser for the upcoming season next week, and hopefully will be something we get to follow throughout the season too.
